BECOME A FESTIVAL SPONSOR

One of Hui o Laka’s major efforts each year is funding our two festivals, especially Eō e Emalani i Alaka‘i which has grown substantially over the years and is now too large to be easily accommodated at Kokee State Park’s Kanaloahuluhulu Meadow. Eō e Emalani i Alaka‘i, Hui o Laka’s feted celebration of Queen Emma’s ascent to the uplands of Kōke‘e in 1871 is a memorable cultural event loved by many. Over a dozen hālau from Kaua‘i, the neighbor islands, and even Japan come each year.
To continue the event, shuttle services are needed plus matching sums of money that isn’t covered by grants or earned income from the event. We would like to continue the event on an annual basis but need additional major sponsorship. Any organization or business that would find this a good fit, please contact Hui o Laka’s director.

We need help!
