Staying at the CCC Camp
Hui o Laka operates the CCC Camp to:
To preserve and interpret the historic Camp complex, To provide room for Hui o Laka offices, operations, and programs,
To support researchers in the parks. While the primary focus is to serve volunteers and researchers, Hui o Laka will, by special arrangement, rent out the camp for private purposes, such as a reunion or conference or retreat. Please contact ED with such requests. The purpose of such rentals is to help support camp operations. There are several camps available for group use in Waimea Canyon and Koke'e State Parks.
Cost for overnight accommodations for volunteers and researchers is currently $7.50 per person per night, payable in full, one week before arrival to Hui o Laka. To arrange a stay, whether as a volunteer or researcher, please fill out this form and return electronically or by fax to 808-335-6131.
